Petr Weigl Ceramic Studios

Founded in 2003, the Petr Weigl Studios is a friendly and supportive environment in which to grow your ceramic practice. Our Wood Green studio is a hub for emerging makers, early career artists, and those choosing to develop their hobby. Unlike other ceramic studios, our members enjoy unlimited studio hours and unrestricted access, 23/7. 

Our members enjoy the independence of being responsible for the loading and firing of the kilns. We offer access to three large Rodhe kilns as well as a smaller test kiln. The studio is well equipped for throwers, hand builders, mould-making and slip casting. 

We understand the importance of creating in a settled, designated work space, so each of our members has their own desk and storage areas. To maximise their space we offer communal storage areas for clay, glaze and plaster as well as shelves for drying works.

We work hard to keep rates affordable for our members with spaces costing only £185 per month, firings not included. Each of our members work independently and while no formal training is necessary, a prior knowledge of ceramics is required. As a working studio we do not offer lessons and equipment is for members use only.
